Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) focuses on the lymphatic system. A prime role of our lymphatic system is immunity. Our lymphatic system sits above our muscles and therefore requires a different technique, and a much lighter technique. While the pressure is significantly lighter our lymphatic system in innervated by our autonomic nervous system which means, it's very relaxing.
I am a Level 2 Vodder School trained MLD therapist, at this time I am working with clients with a healthy and intact lymphatic system. I am training this fall to work with folks with Lymphedema.
